The 9-year-old student at John J. McLaughlin Cumberland Hill Elementary School spends his week- ends competing as a junior drag racer in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Summit Racing Junior Dragster League, participating in the B class in Division 1. Last weekend, he achieved his greatest accomplishment yet, winning Wally Trophy, a top tro- phy for all of drag racing. "It feels really good. We had a friend that drag raced, and he was 43 when he got his first Wally. I'm only 9, and I'm only four months into it," said Aidan. "I was in happy tears when I found out."
