Bishop Feehan announces local graduates ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The following local students are members of Bishop Feehan High School's graduating Class of 2018. Graduation ceremonies were held May 31. From Cumberland: Haleigh Arenas, Samuel Carter, Joseph Colucci, Benjamin Draper, William Goffe, Henri Guerin, Sarah Keough, Derek Knobloch, Benjamin Pichette, Ian Ross, Chelsea Soares, Talia Volpicelli From Lincoln: Alexander Khabbaz CHS student is RIFLA Student of the Year CUMBERLAND – Cumberland High School senior Josef Madour has been named Rhode Island Foreign Language Association's 2018 Student of the Year. The award is based on academic per- formance and the student's interest in world languages, as evidenced by their transcript, letters of recom- mendation and essay. As an immigrant, Madour began his freshman year with weak English skills and no knowledge of Spanish. He had exited his ELL program by the end of the year. Madour will graduate with the Seal of Biliteracy in English, Spanish and Arabic and scored in the 99th percentile in the National Spanish Exam, earning a Gold Medal.
