Renaissance V Brass Quintet plays June 16 SMITHFIELD – Greenville Public Library, 573 Putnam Pike, will host the Renaissance V Brass Quintet on Saturday, June 16, at 3 p.m. The Renaissance V consists of two trumpets (Al Testa, leader, and Bob Izzo), tuba (Colon Kane), French horn (Nicole Worzel) and trombone ( James Suchodolski). The group plays a variety of music ranging from the 15th century up to today. Their styles include renaissance, baroque, classi- cal, ragtime, marches, swing, jazz and some rock. Red Nose Day at Bright Start Academy raises funds for charities PAIGE TSONOS, 4, of Greenville, holds the Red Nose paper plate she created for Red Nose Day. Red Nose Day is sponsored by Walgreens and encourages everyone to don red noses, just for fun, while supporting charities that lift children out of poverty.
