See more photos on page 13. Kernel of knowledge WOONSOCKET – For Holly Perry, a social worker at Landmark Medical Center, April 18 was a day of sadness. In February of 2017, Perry's brother-in- law, Andrew, died of brain cancer. The loss was devastating for the family, and for Perry person- ally, it was almost unbearable. In 2014 and again in 2016, she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, and the two had planned to fight the disease together. "He was my number one support person," she said during an interview at Landmark. "I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, so we were kind of a team."
