12 2021 HEALTH & WELLNESS GUIDE | THE VALLEY BREEZE | MARCH 2021 Since they first opened their doors, Ortho Rhode Island has built an organization that provides world-class orthopedic care. Now, they're building something even better. Ortho Rhode Island is opening their new flagship campus in Warwick that brings all phases of orthopedic care under one roof. This innovative campus will support Ortho Rhode Island's mission to deliver the best patient experience in orthopedics, offering seamless access to every phase of care, including outpatient surgery at the Ortho RI Surgery Center, immediate injury care at Ortho RI Express, advanced imaging with MRI, and physical and occupational therapy. And the innovation at Ortho Rhode Island's new facility doesn't only mean more technology – it means progress, with high quality care and value as the focus. Ortho Rhode Island has taken forward-looking steps like integrating patient medical records across their new campus, introducing touchless technologies for the check-in process, and implementing new screening procedures to reduce risk and exposure to COVID-19. The new 66,000 square foot facility is centrally located by route 95, and has been designed around a patient-centered workflow to reduce wait times. It also offers an abundance of natural light, outdoor walking space, terraces, and ample free parking. It will be the new home of Ortho Rhode Island's Warwick and East Greenwich offices, and is an addition to their current facilities in Providence, Wakefield, and Westerly, as well as their satellite locations. The first floor features Ortho RI Express injury care, Ortho RI Biologics, physical and occupational therapy, and MRI services, allowing patients with brief appointments to come and go without the elevator or stairs. The second floor contains orthopedic and podiatric office space, divided into four pod areas, each with its own digital x-ray equipment. The third floor houses the Ortho RI Surgery Center, with eight operating rooms and two procedure rooms. A variety of orthopedic procedures will be performed on an outpatient basis at the Ortho RI Surgery Center, while for more complex cases, Ortho Rhode Island surgeons will continue to work closely with partners such as South County Hospital. Ortho Rhode Island is an independent orthopedic practice with offices serving communities throughout Rhode Island. Their world- class doctors provide an unconditional commitment to patient satisfaction, evidence-based quality, cost-effective services, education, and innovative technology to support patients' needs.
