There are 10 award categories, with one winner per category: • Spirit of Cumberland • Most Creative • Clark Griswold (lights and decora- tions to the extreme) • Kid's Award (designed and deco- rated by kids only) • Best Theme (for example, sports, holiday movie, 2020 theme) • Best Business • Best Neighborhood (awarded to a group of homes) • Mayor's Award (judged by Mayor Jeff Mutter) • Valley Breeze Award (judged by Breeze Editor Ethan Shorey) • And People's Choice Award (vot- ing by residents on social media) All entry forms are due by Saturday, Dec. 5, at 11:59 p.m. Light displays must be lit during all contest viewing dates and times, Dec. 14-20, from 5 to 8 p.m. each day. Addresses must be in Cumberland. Displays may consist of any winter holiday or theme. Use your imagina- tion, anything goes, have fun. By entering the contest, residents are agreeing to have their address on the map and on the list of addresses for promotional purposes of the contest online and in newspapers. Names or contact information will not be included on the map. Photos will be taken of home or business displays for the contest and shared online and in newspapers. Those who win will have their name or business name publi- cized and receive a winner yard sign on their lawn. By entering the contest, residents agree and acknowledge that any volunteers are fully harmless for any and all losses that they may incur as a result of participating in the contest.
