The professional provides assistance to the child with self-help & self-care as well as teaching of social & safety skills when applicable. PERSONAL ASSISTANCE AND SUPPORT SERVICES Provides personal assistance and support per the approved PASS plan to enhance the ability of children with special health care needs to live and participate as valued family and community members, thereby fostering their independence. Plan implementation of goals includes the areas of accomplishing activities of daily life, making self preserving decisions and participating in social roles and social settings. SEVEN HILLS RI / ADULT PROGRAMS Adult Residential and Day Programs Direct Support Sta- full-time, part-time, and per-diem - provides assistance to adults in their homes and communities with activities of daily living and participation in work and recreation. Positions available statewide Must be at least 19 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent and minimum two years experience working successfully with children/ adults in a special healthcare setting, education selling or recreation setting. Must have transportation. The Provider en- sures a welcoming environment and inte- grates the individual into their normal rou- tine and day to day life activities. Minimum Qualification: Background checks and home inspec- tions will be done. Shared Living Provider must also agree to provider and contrac- tor agreement. Provider must also: Be 21 years of age or older; and have valid driver's license; safe driving record; auto insurance; high school diploma or GED.
