VALLEY BREEZE LIVING EDITION | JANUARY 9-15, 2020 ENTERTAINMENT 3 Fellswater opens Blackstone River Theatre's 2020 season CUMBERLAND – Blackstone River Theatre will present the Celtic music group Fellswater on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 8 p.m., at the theater, 549 Broad St. Fellswater is a dynamic Celtic music ensemble based out of Boston playing a wide range of music from tradition- al to modern compositions, drawing from the music of Scotland, Ireland, Brittany and Canada. Fellswater has performed at the New Hampshire Highland Games, Maine Highland Games, Colonial Williamsburg and the Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo. The band has released three well-received albums, "Fellswater," "Thursday Night," and their latest album "Skipping Stones" released at Blackstone River Theatre in 2018. Fellswater appeared at the prestigious Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 2018. The eight-piece band features Kyle Forsthoff on bodhran and percus- sion, Elizabeth Ketudat on fiddle, Jim MacConduibh on acoustic bass guitar, Sarah MacConduibh on Irish flute, whistles and fife, Andrew McIntosh on Scottish smallpipes and border pipes, Chris Myers on vocals, guitar, and octave mandolin, Diane Myers on vocals, and David Cabral on cello. Blackstone River Theatre, 549 Broad St., Cumberland, will present the Celtic music group FELLSWATER on Saturday, Jan. 11, at 8 p.m. MoWC seeks Catholic schools memorabilia WOONSOCKET – The Museum of Work & Culture's Catholic Schools Archive is seeking memorabilia from alumni of Catholic schools. The archive currently holds 71 vol- umes capturing the Catholic education experience, with a particular focus on the parochial schools of Rhode Island and New England, but features mate- rial from across the globe. The museum is seeking the assis- tance of the public in expanding this archive, and is currently seeking the following materials from any indi- viduals who attended or taught in a Catholic School: • Photographs, including class pic- tures, group pictures, snapshots, and yearbook photos featuring students, nuns, and/or brothers • Baptismal, First Communion, Confirmation, and/or wedding records and photographs • Memorabilia, such as event pro- grams, report cards, and certificates • Written compositions recalling your time in school • Yearbooks from Woonsocket- based schools, including: Mount Saint Charles: 1925, 1927, 1928, 1929, 1938, 2016-19; St. Clare: 1927, 1935, 1944, 1971 Those interested in donating mate- rials to the archive can contact the head of the archive, Lois Peloquin, at mowc@rihs.org.
