PAWTUCKET EDITION | VALLEY BREEZE | NOVEMBER 20-26, 2019 IN OUR SCHOOLS 7 First-graders in Claudia Sweeney's class at Winters Elementary School read the book "The Leaf Project" by Margaret McNamara, which explains that not all parts of the country experience fall as New England knows it. Students decided that since Florida doesn't have the beautiful foliage, they would send leaves to decorate classrooms at Cranberry Elementary in Northport, Fla. Staff at that school were thrilled to receive the gifts, said Lisa Mutter-Gendreau, of Winters. The students wrote a class letter to go with the leaves, including writing from each student. Students participating in the project are, from left, SELENA EVANS, GIA BUENO, JORDAN DRPE, and BEVANNYA PIRES RODRIGUES. 'The Leaf Project' • New or Used Autos (includes refinanced autos from other institutions) • ¼% (.25%) off of qualifying rate (rate is determined by credit worthiness) Members can also save an additional ¼% (.25%) off if loan is paid with BRFCU payroll or automatic transfer • Membership eligibility is required • Please mention this coupon or bring it in to receive the additional savings!
