6 NORTH PROVIDENCE NOVEMBER 13-19, 2019 | VALLEY BREEZE | NORTH PROVIDENCE EDITION Mancini Center will host Holly Jolly Bingo event on Dec. 8; accepting membership renewals NORTH PROVIDENCE – The North Providence Mancini Center, 2 Atlantic Blvd., announces the follow- ing programs. • The North Providence Senior Center Association hosts Holly Jolly Bingo on Sunday, Dec. 8. Doors open at 10 a.m., games begin at noon. Open to the public. Tickets $25, and may be purchased in advance at the center. Only be 200 tickets sold for this event. There will be more than $1,800 in cash prizes given away, and a grand prize $500 jackpot. There will also be more than 20 door prizes given away. The event includes complimentary pastry, sandwiches, pizza, chips, des- sert and beverages. Players must be 18 or older to play. Proceeds will benefit the North Providence Senior Center Association, a nonprofit organization. • Tickets are now available for the following upcoming events: Fall Fling with Ronnie Giorgio, $3, includes lunch, Thursday, Nov. 21, noon; The Company Bees Holiday Show, $3, includes lunch, Thursday, Dec. 5, noon; Holiday Celebration with sing- ing Santa Tom Conte, $10, includes lunch catered by Mickey G's, Friday, Dec. 20, 11 a.m. • The center is now accepting 2020 membership renewals: $10 for North Providence residents; $15 for non- residents. • URI Pharmacy Outreach presents an overview of diabetes Thursday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. • Washington Trust Company dis- cusses fraud and scams on Friday, Nov. 15, at 10 a.m. • "Home For The Holidays" on Monday, Nov. 18, at 12:30 p.m. • Program on osteoporosis and bone density, Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m. • Book club discusses "Watch Me Disappear," by Janelle Brown, on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m. • The following trips are offered: Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the DCU Center in Worcester on Sunday, Nov. 17, depart NPMC at 1 p.m., $89 per person; Christmas Time in Newport and La Salette, Dec. 12, 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m., $99.
