Police looking to pinpoint source of needle in a Twizzler CUMBERLAND – Police say they are investigating a claim that a local family dis- covered a sewing needle in a Twizzler handed out on Halloween, but Deputy Chief Douglas Ciullo said it would be premature to discuss any leads. Leads might be hard to come by, since the Silva family was unable to pinpoint where the candy came from. Mike Silva said his 13-year- old daughter discovered the needle after bit- ing into the Twizzler. He warned others in a Facebook post to also check their children's candy. Silva said the family was trick-or-treating in multiple locations, including Cumberland Hill and on the other end of town in an area off Diamond Hill Road.
