VALLEY BREEZE LIVING EDITION | OCTOBER 31-NOVEMBER 6, 2019 REAL ESTATE 7 New construction on private road in northern Cumberland CUMBERLAND – This colo- nial, a modern slice of luxury, is newly built and completely private in the Lawrence Estates develop- ment in Grants Mill, part of northern Cumberland. "It's in a neighborhood serviced by a private road, as Rustic Lane is private," Boucher Real Estate agent Duane Boucher said. "There are a lot of woods behind the property and in the front as well. We did the develop- ment with stone walls along the front of Rustic Lane. It has a traditional New England feel." Boucher said that this particular house is the sixth in the development out of a total of seven. He said that it's a beautiful neighborhood. Not only would you live on a private road but you have a long, expansive driveway leading to an oversized, three-car garage. The garage is big enough for three cars plus extras, including a lawn mower and plenty more. There's a utility sink in the garage as well. "The grounds are irrigated, and you have all the conveniences," Boucher said. "It ticks all the boxes. This house was just built, there is an open floor plan, which is becoming very popular with a big kitchen island for big gath- erings. The master has a lavish walk-in shower." From the driveway is a walkway leading to the front entrance. Upon entering you are welcomed into a small foyer with hardwood floors. Boucher said there are hardwood floors throughout, even in the bed- rooms. There is ceramic tile in the bathrooms. There is a half bath located on the main level along with a laundry room. Then there is the open floor concept. Once inside the front door to the left is the dining area while to the right is an office. As you continue deeper into the house you come across the great room and kitchen. A fireplace adorns the great room while the kitchen houses a custom center island. "The kitchen has quartz countertops with a leather finish, not high polished, which is quite functional," Boucher said. "The colors work well together. The cabinetry is all custommade, not boxed." The appliances are stainless steel with upscale finishes. The kitchen even boasts a wine fridge. There is space to sit and eat at the island as well as a separate table. Also off of the kitchen are sliding glass doors leading to a covered patio out back. Going up to the second level there are two full baths and four bedrooms including the master suite. There are a couple of closets in the master as well as a walk-in closet that is modern and different, not just one rod all the way around the room. The walls leading upstairs are a gray color and that color appears in the master. It matches well in the bath- room. There is a his-and-hers sink as well as a massive walk-in shower with glass door and bench. The other full bathroom to accom- modate the other three bedrooms also has a double sink as well as separate commode room. There is a full, unfinished basement. This house could accommodate anyone. Boucher said it's a pretty big house but can fit any person or family from a single person to a family with kids. "It's really a nice, quiet spot, so if you have young kids, they are not on a busy road or have to deal with traf- fic," Boucher said. "It's super quiet and there is space to run around and play." The lot is 1.43 acres and the house offers 2,993 square feet of living space. It was built this year, 2019, and is in a great location. Boucher said that it's in northern Cumberland in the Blue Ribbon school system. From the house, it's easy to jump on 295 or any of the highways. The house is listed by Boucher at $869,900. Showings are by appoint- ment.
