Senior Center membership is required to go on this trip and the $18 per person is due at the time of regis- tration. That will include a lunch buffet and $10 slot play. The bus will leave at 8:30 a.m. from the Senior Center, 150 Jenckes Hill Road, and members are asked to park in the back lot. Call 401-753-7000. South Attleboro Lions collecting school supplies ATTLEBORO, Mass. – The South Attleboro Village Lions are collect- ing school supplies for the Attleboro middle schools. Veterans Town Hall meeting Aug. 15 PROVIDENCE – The VA New England Health Care System, Providence VA Medical Center and the Veterans Benefits Administration's Providence Regional Office are host- ing a joint veterans town hall meeting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Providence VAMC, 830 Chalkstone Ave. Veterans, families and community partners are welcome to attend. Leadership from the VA New England HSC, Providence VAMC, VBA Regional Office and the Rhode Island Office of Veteran Affairs will provide updates and respond to ques- tions from the audience during the meeting, which will be in the fifth floor auditorium of the main hospital building. Needed materials include: flores- cent markers, #2 pencils, blue and red pens, Elmer's Glue sticks, tissues, colored pencils, pink erasers, Crayola markers, sketchbooks, two-pocket folders, dry erase markers, divider tabs, two-inch ring binder, one-subject spiral notebooks, index cards, plastic rulers, and more. There are drop-off boxes at St. Theresa Church, 18 Baltic St., Goldmark Credit Union, 155 Pleasant St., Attleboro Public Library, 74 N.
