Rain date is Sunday, Aug. 11, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Mary Manning Morse graduates from RIASC's Leadership Academy SCITUATE – The Rhode Island Association of School Committees has recognized Scituate School Committee member Mary Manning Morse upon her gradu- ation from RIASC's Leadership Academy. She also received special recogni- tion from the Rhode Island Board of Education for this achievement at RIASC's Annual Meeting held in April. Morse was elected to serve on the Scituate School Committee in 2018. She is a graduate of Rhode Island College with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and educa- tion teacher certification: elemen- tary, middle school endorsement in mathematics, secondary math- ematics. Morse taught secondary mathematics for 31 years in the Foster-Glocester schools and was recognized as a district teacher of the year. She currently serves on the School Safety, Teacher of the Year, and Collective Bargaining and Negotiations subcommittees. She is also a liaison to the Scituate Prevention Partnership. do you know?
