It was all in fun as the town's summer campers created a mini-city in Notte Park on Monday. The city included a hospital, a broadcast center, newspaper office, public safety complex and more. IN BRIEF Veterans Town Hall meeting Aug. 15 PROVIDENCE – The VA New England Health Care System, Providence VA Medical Center and the Veterans Benefits Administration's Providence Regional Office are host- ing a joint veterans town hall meeting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Providence VAMC, 830 Chalkstone Ave. Veterans, families and community partners are welcome to attend.
