PAWTUCKET EDITION | VALLEY BREEZE | MAY 8-14, 2019 PAWTUCKET 13 destination. Roscoe Gay, also known as Every 1's Chef of Woonsocket, will be bringing Roscoe's Cafe to the front right window spot, opposite Flying Shuttles Studio. Other new tenants include the Vine Juice ·Bar, the Stajez Dance School, set to move in injune, and the recently moved in Heavenly Spa. Also arriving is Stellar Consulting. Owner Leslie Moore, who pur- chased the property last year, has also developed a custom multi-story play area for children. Run by the owners, that amenity will always be there, said Mel Moore. Owners are also still "definitely" planning a new arcade, as well as grooming services for both men and women, said Moore, with a salon and barbershop. The slogan for The Grant is meant to indicate that there's "a lot of life" now in the area, said Mel Moore, who is no relation to Leslie. He said it's still to be determined how many tenants The Grant will end up with, as it depends on how the lower level is used. There are cur- rently about seven tenants. Leslie Moore, who had previ- ously told The Breeze she expected a grand opening in May, now says that opening is set for July 15. The goal of the reshaped Grant building, said Leslie Moore previ- ously, is to have "food, things to do, and things to buy" all in one place. Moore puchase the indoor mall- like former 1934 department store from former owners Jason Hogue and Michael Lozano for $750,000 last summer. The 18,000-square-foot property, located next to the city's garage, has 17 flexible spaces.
