SMITHFIELD SCITUATE FOSTER GLOCESTER | VALLEY BREEZE & OBSERVER | APRIL 25-MAY 1, 2019 NORTH COUNTY 7 Jack Wright gets extra credit for knowing this. An excellent account can be found on the website Quahog.org. Look for the story by late Scituate town historian Barbara Sarkesian. Mini Theater Review: Trinity Rep has made one of its occasional forays into the world of musicals, offering "Little Shop of Horrors" on stage through May 12. Of course they have put the Trinity stamp on it. Great fun, the production features impressive singing, a fearsome man-eat- ing plant puppet, and lively performances. Even if you're grumpy when you arrive, you'll be smil- ing when you leave. SASSO From Page 5 The SMITHFIELD LIONS CLUB donated 100 bags of groceries to the residents of Greenville Manor and McIntosh Estates with help from St. Philip Church and the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry, on April 13. Lions members and volunteers, clockwise from left, are Antonio Aquilante, Lyn Antonuccio, Carol Aquilante, Bernice Young (top), Cheryl McKenney, Carol Christian, Trish Williams, Sean Williams, Lions President Jan Hilfer, St. Vincent DePaul and St. Philip Food Pantry director James Carroll, Alyson LaGreca, and Fran Harris. The Smithfield Lions Club members extend a heartfelt thank you to James Carroll, who supplied the food items, and Housing Authority director Claire Fortin for making the event a success.
