Public safety employees donate game proceeds to Tri-County NORTH PROVIDENCE – Town public safety employees last Friday donated money raised from their charity basketball game in March to the Tri-County Community Action Agency. Police and fire personnel, includ- ing those from FOP Lodge 13 and the Local 2334 were there at the North Providence Police and Fire Department, as were Mayor Charles Lombardi and representa- tives from Tri-County. A total of $4,670 was raised from the March 28 game where the North Providence Police Department Team edged out the Fire Department Team by a final score of 30-28. Money raised will go toward youth prevention services, Head Start programs, adult and youth education, employment and train- ing, youth sports, senior and dis- abled adult case management, and health center services.
