SMITHFIELD BLACKSTONE WOONSOCKET EDITION | VALLEY BREEZE | MARCH 28-APRIL 3, 2019 SCOUTS / WOONSOCKET 11 North Smithfield Middle School Drama Club will host book sale NORTH SMITHFIELD – North Smithfield Middle School Drama Club will be hosting a Buck- A-Book Used Book Sale Saturday, March 30, at Scouter's Hall, 32 North Main St., from 8 a.m. to noon. The public is invited to come and browse books for all age groups. Donations are welcome. Those wishing to donate books for this event can email nsdrama@gmail.com for drop-off locations. All proceeds from this book sale will be used to support the activities and performances of the club. Good Shepherd Drama Club will perform Friday WOONSOCKET – Good Shepherd Catholic School Drama Club will present the play "There's A Monster In My Closet" at the school, 1210 Mendon Road, on Friday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5. Proceeds benefit Good Shepherd's fine arts pro- gram. The show will feature students in grades 3-8. VICTORIA ROBERTSON, of North Smithfield, is sworn in as Troop Leader of Troop 438 North Smithfield during the first Court of Honor held at Scouter's Hall in North Smithfield last Friday. KAYLA ALLAM, of North Smithfield, becomes an official member of Troop 438 with the Laying of the Hands by Scoutmaster JOSHUA THIBEAULT. SAMANTHA THIBEAULT, of North Smithfield, receives her scout rank and troop neckerchief from troop leader VICTORIA ROBERTSON, also of North Smithfield. ABIGAIL RODEN, of North Smithfield, receives her Founder's Certificate for being one of the first members of the newly-formed Troop 438.
