Navigant, which also won the regular-season title, ended its season with a 10-game win streak and a 20-1 record. WILLIAM O'BRIEN, STATE REP. recently captured the Senior Division championship of the North Providence Youth Basketball Association by sweeping its best- of-three title series with McDonald Law Associates. Despite finishing the season in fourth place with an 8-12 record, O'Brien caught fire in the playoffs and went 4-0. NPYBA crowns 2018-19 championship teams NP-S Babe Ruth schedules tryouts next week at NPHS NORTH PROVIDENCE – Tryouts for the North Providence- Smithfield Babe Ruth League will be held next Monday, April 1, and Tuesday, April 2, at 6 p.m. at North Providence High's baseball field, located on Smithfield Road behind the high school. Tryouts are open to all players living in North Providence, Smithfield, and Lincoln. All 13-year-old candidates are required to attend next Monday, and 14- and 15-year-old candidates are required to attend on Tuesday. Registration before tryouts is encour- aged and candidates can visit www. to sign up. Final registrations for youth flag football league is tonight NORTH PROVIDENCE – The North Providence Jets youth football organization will hold its final signups for its spring flag football league for boys and girls ages 8-17, and to all North Providence residents and sur- rounding towns, tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the North Providence Library.
