The Renaissance V Brass Quintet will play seasonal and traditional melodies. The concert will be fol- lowed by a tree lighting. FOSTER – Tyler Free Library, 81A Moosup Valley Road, will host Gingerbread House Building on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 3:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, Nov. 29. Call 401-397- 4801. FOSTER – Foster Public Library, 184 Howard Hill Road, will host Art Journaling with Fluid Painting on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at 6 p.m. The group will create "fluid" or "poured" painting to create new pages in journals. A $3 contribution toward supplies, or non-perishable food to donate to the Foster food pantry, is requested for this program. No experience is necessary. GLOCESTER – The Glocester Heritage Society, located in the historic Job Armstrong Store, 1181 Main St., will be open and host ven- dors during the annual Candlelight Shopping event, which is held on the first three Thursday evenings in December. This year, the event is set for Dec. 6, 13, and 20, from 5 to 9 p.m. The Society vendors will have country crafts, soft sculptures, yarn and knit items, Rhody Warm Blankets, ceram- ics, wreaths and cards, and natural skin products. There will also be a Revolutionary War re-enactor. The Society will also be selling their "Taste of Glocester" cookbook, and "West of the Seven Mile Line" DVDs, along with shirts, hats, and other items.
