SMITHFIELD SCITUATE FOSTER GLOCESTER | VALLEY BREEZE & OBSERVER | NOV. 29-DEC. 5, 2018 SPORTS & RECREATION 17 Providence Gridiron Club schedules Hall of Fame, High School MVP events PROVIDENCE – The Providence Gridiron Club will hold three events next month: the Hall of Fame Brunch at the Rhode Island Country Club in Barrington next Sunday, Dec. 2, at 10:30 a.m., the Hall of Fame Night at the Quonset 'O' Club in North Kingstown on Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m., and the High School MVP Night, which will also be held at the Quonset 'O' Club, on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. Tickets for the Hall of Fame Brunch are $25 each, and tickets for the Hall of Fame Night and High School MVP Night are $40 each. This year's Hall of Fame honorees are Tiverton High head coach and athletic direc- tor Bob Murray; Mount Hope football coach and former URI and Arena Football League player T.J. DelSanto; former Mount Pleasant head coach Ralph DiMuccio; for- mer Burrillville head coach George Ducharme; former Edgewood Eagles head coach Serge Filinow, and former Providence Journal sports- writer John Gillooly. The High School MVP Night will honor the offensive and defensive Most Valuable Players from the state's 42 high school teams. District IV Fall Ball Championship.
