BV Polar Express opens in Woonsocket Friday WOONSOCKET – The Blackstone Valley Polar Express train rides will be pulling away from the beauti- fully decorated Woonsocket train depot beginning Friday and continuing through Dec. 23. This Friday through Sunday is opening weekend. Join the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council as it kicks off the 2018 season. This week- end, BVTC invites residents, visitors and their families and friends to participate in the start of these popular rail excursions. This family favorite has become America's lon- gest running Polar Express licensed train ride. The Blackstone Valley Polar Express has become known for its live human characters interacting with guests, as their ride becomes reality during this holiday experience. Here is the line-up at the depot this weekend: Friday, Nov. 16 2:30 p.m. – Entertainment by Adam Landry 5:30 p.m. – Entertainment by Calvary Worship Center 6 p.m. – "The Voice" Emily Luther Saturday, Nov. 17 11:30 p.m. – Entertainment by Kickin' Brass Band 2:30 p.m. – Entertainment by Galdys Cole Productions w/ Seusical the Musical 5:30 p.m. – Entertainment by St. James Baptist Church singers Sunday, Nov. 18 11:30 p.m. – Entertainment TBD 2:30 p.m. – Entertainment by Kelley Schimmel (Lennon) Information on tickets, train rides and the schedule is avail- able on the web at www.black- stonevalleypolarexpress.com .
