Create your own boxwood holiday tree; classes Dec. 4 WOONSOCKET – On Tuesday, Dec. 4, the St. Ann Arts and Cultural Center invites residents infected with the Christmas spirit to one of two classes they are hosting in making a traditional tabletop boxwood tree for the holidays. Classes will be at either 1 or 6 p.m. and will include a light buffet. Using fresh English boxwood, attendees will learn to assemble their own 30-inch tall boxwood Christmas tree. Once assembled, visitors will decorate the tree choosing from a variety of decorations to personal- ize the creation. The classes will be taught by Ann Jalette, of Vose True Value, where you can buy her already-made holiday creations if you can't attend this class. The classes will cost $45, or $50 if you'd like electric mini-lights in your tree. Classes include a light buffet and all your supplies. Register early, as class size is limited. Thanksgiving service at Our Savior Church WOONSOCKET – An annual Thanksgiving Worship Service of ecumenical prayer, music and fellow- ship will be hosted by Our Saviour Polish National Catholic Church, 500 Smithfield Road, on Sunday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m. The guest preacher will be the Rev. Ruth Blais, who serves the commu- nity of Blackstone and surrounding towns as pastor of Christ Community Church of Blackstone. A free-will offering will benefit New Beginnings Meal Site in Woonsocket. Refreshments and fellowship will follow in the church hall. Meetinghouse will host Thanksgiving service UXBRIDGE, Mass. – The Uxbridge Quaker Meeting House Association will host a traditional Thanksgiving Day service on Thursday, Nov. 22, at 9:30 a.m., in the historic meetinghouse, corner of Quaker Highway and Aldrich Street. St. Agatha Senior Group announces trips, winners WOONSOCKET – St. Agatha Senior Group will host a bus trip to Foxwoods Casino on Friday, Nov. 30.
