The Reservoir Association will start the blaze beginning at 4 p.m., and it will go until the wood runs out. Donations of winter clothing, including hats, jackets, scarves and gloves, will be accepted and donat- ed to Operation Stand Down, a charity dedicated to serving home- less and low-income Veterans. Tim Quigley, President of Slack Reservoir Association, said the Association decided to hold a bonfire to create a social and chari- table event that was open to the public. He expects between 50-100 people to attend. "Last year was a lot of fun and people said they'd like to do it again," Quigley said. The event is "BYOE," or bring your own everything, though refreshments are potluck style. He encourages attendants to bring their own trash bag as well, and to carry out what you carry in.
