Tractor Supply Company now open in Woonsocket WOONSOCKET – Tractor Supply Company, a Tennessee-based chain that offers farming, lawn and garden and animal supplies, opened a new location in the former Walmart build- ing on Diamond Hill Road Saturday. The store is the second to open this year in the formerly vacant build- ing after Ocean State Job Lot moved into a 36,000-square-foot space in the plaza, leaving its former loca- tion in Walnut Hill Plaza in March. Renovations at the Tractor Supply Company space, which occupies about 25,000 square feet of the build- ing, have been ongoing for several months, and the company has adver- tised for jobs at the new store for several weeks. The location is the company's fourth store in Rhode Island, with others located in Johnston, Coventry and North Kingstown. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
