The Pride's next three games promise to be difficult tests, starting with Friday's 4:15 p.m. game at home against Tolman and continuing with next Monday night's battle in Tiverton and a showdown at home three days later against Woonsocket. Entering Tuesday afternoon's D-III action, Cranston East (10-0) and Narragansett (8-0) remained atop the standings, and separating the leaders from the 6th-place Pride are Classical (7-1-1), Tolman (7-1), and Tiverton (7-2). Woonsocket also sits one point behind BVP. PRIDE From Page 23 F.I.T. Challenge's 'Frills Trail Runs return to Monastery Oct. 21 CUMBERLAND – F.I.T. Challenge is bringing its popular Trailfecta series back to the trails of the Monastery this fall, and the series will begin on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 10 a.m. with its F.I.T. 'Frills Trail Runs. This year's event will offer two course options, a 5K or a five-miler. Participants who choose to run multi- laps can do so two hours before the 10 a.m. start time. The children's fun run, which is 0.79 of a mile, will kick off the event. It will be followed by the five-mile run, and five minutes after the start of that race will be the 5K. Everyone will receive a finisher's medal, and multi-lappers will earn a commemorative wooden block. The other two races in the series are the F.I.T. Turkey Trot Trail Races on Thanksgiving morning and the "F.I.T.'Mas" Trail Runs on Sunday, Dec. 9.
